Greetings! I am Laxman Gundap, a former national-level footballer who transitioned into the world of running in 2017. This transformative journey began with a 5-kilometer run and has since seen me conquer over 150 marathons, including half-marathons, full-marathons, and ultra-marathons.

In 2017, fueled by a shared passion for running, I co-founded Runner’s Clan alongside a group of like-minded amateur runners. This community, dedicated to the love of running, has not only welcomed but also trained over 150 non-runners. Many of them have transformed into podium finishers, ultra-runners, and national-level master’s winners across India.

Our collective dedication to running and the desire to create a positive impact on society prompted the evolution of Runner’s Clan into the Runner’s Clan Foundation (RCF) in 2021. As an NGO, RCF is committed to promoting health and engaging in various social activities. One of our flagship events is the challenging 65-kilometer Urban Ultra run—an annual journey from the Gateway of India to Dombivli, known as “Ek Daud Veer Jawano Ke Liye,” now in its fourth successful year.

Being an integral part of the Runner’s Clan Foundation fills me with immense pride. Our collective efforts are making a meaningful contribution to both the running community and society at large.

Thank you for your support.
